Dr. Sudipto Chatterjee, MD is a psychiatrist trained from NIMHANS, Bangalore. He is a globally influential researcher who has pioneered the develop ment of community based rehabilitation for people with mental disorders through community health workers. He has worked with the WHO in developing mental health services in the occupied Palestinian territories, Sri Lanka and Vietnam as well as in a senior position in Australian public mental health system. He has been part of Parivartan Trust since 2013 and has led the INCENSE and Jan Man Swasth programs and the THRIVE project
Dr. Hamid Dabholkar
Senior Team Member
Dr. Hamid Dabholkar is a trained Psychiatrist with keen interest in community mental health. His primary areas of interest are development of cost effective models of mental health service delivery for resource poor population and community based treatment for alcohol and tobacco use disorders. He performs clinical, administrative and training related responsibilities in Parivartan.
Kishor Kalokhe
Project Coordinator, De-addiction center, Satara.
Kishor Kalokhe has been working at Parivartan since last 16 years. For his immense contribution to society the Department of Social Justice of Maharashtra State Government has awarded him in 2018. He is a well-sought motivational speaker and act as resource person for many government, and non government organisations. He was awarded Mahatma Gandhi vyasanmukti seva puraskar 2019, Vishes sanman puraskar and Vishesh sanman puraskar -Samajbhushan puraskar by different organisations. Kishor Kalokhe has written a book titled: Parivartan Navya Badalachi Survat.
Rupali Bhosale
Project Coordinator, Satara
Rupali Bhosale studied MSW and has been working with Parivartan for the last 8 years as Project Coordinator in Jan Man Swasthy Abhiyan. programme. Her work consists of counselling, giving psycho-social support to mentally ill person and his family. She is also an expert in conducting training and capacity building of team and in holding mental health awareness workshops in schools, colleges and communities.
Malika Patankar
Clinical Psychologist, Satara
Malika Patankar has been working with Parivartan as Clinical Psychologist for the last 25 years. She is specialized in supportive psychotherapy, behavioural therapy, Family and group therapy and relaxation therapy. Her therapies include Behavioural Activation therapy, Supportive Psychopathy, Relaxation therapy, Counselling for De-addiction, Pre and post marital counselling and Mental Rehabilitation.
Uday Chavan
Counselor, Satara
Uday Chavan has been working with Parivartan for the last 14 years as social worker. He is an expert in conducting individual and family counseling sessions and taking group sessions of admit patients. His activities on de-addiction especially on tobacco and guthka has made Satara Tobacco Control Committee and winner of awards like Bhandutwa Puraskar and Dahigaov Loakvikas Gourav Puraskar.
Dilip Gaonkar
Lead Programme Coordinator,Tezpur
Dilip Gaonkar joined Parivartan after his MA Social Work in Mental Health from TISS Mumbai. He led and completed two mental health projects INCENSE and THRIVE at Tezpur Assam. Currently he is engaged in spreading awareness about mental health and addiction, providing quality oriented, cost effective community based mental health care services in four districts of Assam and West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh along with psycho social care. Dilip also leads the Parivartan de-addiction and rehabilitation center at Tezpur.
Dr. Nilesh Mohite
Consultant Psychiatrist,Tezpur
Dr. Nilesh Mohite completed MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College Mumbai and completed his post graduation in psychiatry from LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health Tezpur Assam.Dr. Nilesh is passionate about community psychiatry and addiction medicine. He decided to give his services to most needy people so instead going back in Mumbai he decided to work in remote villages of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. n last few years Dr. Nilesh worked in more than 20 districts of Assam. Along with clinical consultation he is excellent mental health trainer and trained more than 500 community mental health workers in Assam.
Bhagaban Das
Centre Coordinator, Tezpur
Bhagaban Das coordinates the de addiction centre of Parivartan Tezpur and also works at the community outreach clinics. He has more than 8 years of experience in mental health sector and has worked for INCENSE and THRIVE program of Parivartan Trust.
Alifa Mahmoda
Camp Facilitator, Tezpur
Alifa started her work with Parivartan from 2015 in one of the community based rehabilitation programmes. Currently she facilitates the community based mental health clinics and also works at Parivartan De-addiction centre. She is one of the first girls from the local community who came forward to educate herself and work with us. Alifa is a true inspiration for many in her village and in communities she works.
Reshma Shashikant Kachare
Co-ordinator, Satara
Reshma Kachare has completed her Masters in Psychology and PG certificate course in Counseling from Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health. After her studies she worked as school counselor at Pune corporation schools. From 2012, she is coordinating the INCENSE and THRIVE mental health projects of Parivatan at Pune.
Raju Inamdar
Co-ordinator, Satara
Raju Inamdar has been working in the field of health communication from last 25 years. He has worked with many organizations like UNICEF, Suzlon Foundation and Children’s Future India. He has authored a book titled “RinganNatya”with Mr.Atul Pethe and a Manual on “Child Rights” with MASUM NGO, Pune. Since 2014, he has been working as communicator and counselor at Manasrang-self help and support group run by Parivartan Trust for mentally ill people and their relatives.
Sonali Hol
Counselor, Satara
Sonali Hol has been working with Parivartan since last 19 years as counsellor. She is an expert in conducting individual and family counselling sessions and taking group sessions of admit patients.
Yogini Magar
Social Worker, Satara
Yogini Magar has been working in the field of mental health since 2006 in accalaimed programmes like Community care for People with Schizophrenia in India (COPSI) . She has been a part of Jan Man Swasthy Abhiyan of Parivartan since from last 5 years . She is an expert in counselling, giving psychosocial support to mentally ill persons and their family.
