Consumption of alcohol and tobacco causes around four million deaths globally. Parivartan has been working in the field of treatment provision of alcohol and tobacco-related problems for more than two decades. Parivartan runs a residential de-addiction centre at Satara with a facility for treatment of 40 patients at a time. We have worked with more than five thousand to help them in the process of recovery.

- Structured evaluation and feedback about addiction
- Psychological education on alcohol
- Active involvement of family
- Rational use of medication
- Skills training
- Relapse prevention
- Assertive follow up
Till date, we have more than a hundred patients enrolled in our community-based de-addiction program.
